History of the Institution

Spandana Pre-University Science College was founded in the year 2015 under the auspices of Spandana Vidyavardhak Sangha, Ilkal, with a steadfast vision to provide quality science education at the higher secondary level. The college was established by a dedicated group of experienced lecturers who not only envisioned but also executed the idea of creating an institution driven by academic excellence and values.

The college began with an initial intake of 174 students in I PUC (Class 11) during its founding year. Over time, owing to its commitment to academic standards and student-centric learning, the college has witnessed steady growth. As per the latest data, the institution proudly serves 472 students – 212 in I PUC and 260 in II PUC, guided by a passionate faculty team of 16 senior lecturers.

Strategically located in Ward No. 2, Ilkal, the campus offers a serene and focused learning environment in an urban setting. The institution provides essential facilities such as:

Under the able guidance of the Founder Members, who are also Heads of their respective departments and Directors of the Sangha, the institution continues to flourish and inspire future generations of science aspirants.
